About Me

Born in Italy, in the beautiful valley of Ferrara. From a young age I fell in love with minding children. This passion led me to becoming first a preschool and then a primary school teacher. But it was during my studies of yoga when I found my true obsession for helping pregnant women. Following my move to Ireland I decided to pursue my lifelong dream by becoming a certified birth and postnatal doula.

I believe moms-to-be should feel supported and understood throughout their pregnancies. Through a holistic, evidence based approach to birth, I will accompany you in this journey to parenthood, constantly there with the knowledge, the positivity and the care that you and your partner need.

“Giving birth should be your greatest achievement, not your greatest fear."

—Jane Weideman

Birth Doula

As an antenatal and birth doula my role is to educate and empower women. My final goal is for you to feel confident and excited about giving birth and I achieve this by teaching you everything that you need to know about pregnancy and labour.

During the antenatal meetings, we will go through the different phases of labour and my suggestions for facing each of them together with different ways in which your partner can help. We will work together on the creation of a birth plan and I will guide you if you have to take difficult decisions about the birth by proving you with evidence based info.

I will be with you throughout labour, whether you choose to give birth at home or in the hospital and using yoga and biomechanics techniques I will help you with positioning your baby in the optimal position and to go through labour in the most comfortable way. I will make sure that the environment in which you give birth is perfect for your needs and I will assist you and your partner at the best of my abilities.

Pregnancy and birth are key life unique experiences and you deserve the best.

Postnatal Doula

My role as a postpartum doula is to offer you reassurance and emotional support in the hard first weeks after birth. The 4th trimester can be overwhelming and no one should feel alone. I will be there to help you according to your specific needs offering light house chores, meal preparation, baby care while you nap or shower but also moral support and general baby health. Every woman, birth and baby is different and I am here to help you being you! Having someone you trust and rely on can really make a difference in ensuring that your parenting journey starts in the best possible way.

Assisting the new mom and her partner offering practical support, suggestions and comfort measures is my final goal.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

Taking time to move mindfully is a gift for both you and your baby and that’s why, as a certified antenatal and postnatal yoga teacher I love supporting moms. Yoga is a great way not only to build strength and keep your body active during pregnancy but also to help your body recovering after birth. Yoga teaches how to breath, stay present in the moment together with the ability of working on the pelvic floor muscles and relieve stress. Every class is a safe and customised practice that can help you every step of the way.
